ひまわり （Sunflower）

We found a new type of sunflower in our close shopping center. It seemed Helloween sunflower because the petals were orange and the stalk was purple. I was not sure the flower was nice. But we bought the flower and now I like them:)

新種のひまわりを近くのショッピングセンターで発見。ニュージーランドは農業と花の栽培に力を入れているので、いろんな品種開発をしているらしい。で、この右のひまわりがそうなんだけど、花びらがオレンジで茎が紫とまさにハロウィーン色。写真じゃわからないのが残念。
最初はうわーって思ったものの、買って帰るとなかなかかわいい。
大好きなニュージーランドの夏が近づいてきました。ちなみに、向日葵って漢字も好きです。

 最近は晴れ続きで、暖かいので、もう夏かもしれない。
