Rose garden

I came back:) I connected my blog to facebook. But I hate this connection, that's why I haven't post my blog since April or around that time. (I didn't remember....)
During 6 month, my husband came here, I was stolen my stuff and I got Residency Visa, then we have rugby world cup. Finally, New Zealand won!! So I had a lot of things:)
Last weekend I went to Rose garden in Parnell. Now New Zealand is spring. This season we have a festival every weekend in different park. I enjoy Rose, food and music!

 ようやくブログ復帰しました。Facebookと間違ってコネクトしてしまって、ちょっと面倒になったためずっと放置していました。その間、引越しして、旦那が来て、泥棒に会い、また引越し、永住権が取れて、ラグビーワールドカップがあって、ニュージーランドが優勝！
 という充実した日々をおくっていました。そして、ニュージーランドは春です。
というわけで、パーネルにあるローズガーデンのフェスティバルに行ってきました。この時期になると毎週どこかの公園でお祭りがあるので、オークランド市役所の ホームページは要チェックです＾＾

Pudding (プリン)

These days, I really want to have pudding. Finally, I made it. Yum!!

ご無沙汰ですー。プリンがすっごく食べたくなって、ようやく作りました！プリンの元を買って＾＾でもこのカラメルソースってなんで、プリンミックスに対して少なめなのー？まーおいしいからいいっか。

Sushi

I made Sushi yesterday. Last year I made too big Sushi for my host family. Now my skills become better:) Next time I will bring Sushi to my host family.


昨日はすし。だいぶ上手くなったかも。こっちに来て初めてホストファミリーにつくったときはびっくりするような太巻きができあがった。。。。。。
すしをつくるときはいつも、「お米をいれすぎない」と自分に言い聞かせながら作ってます＾＾
今度ホストファミリーにもっていこー♪

Weekend

I love summer! My friends asked me to help set up web server, but it was canceled. So I contacted my friend and went to Pernell to make a lip stick. I didn't remember how to make it, because we chatted a lot during that time:)
And we went to Takapuna. I have been there at first time. It was really nice place. Thank you~, Megumi!!

夏はやっぱりいい！ほんとは卒業したクラスメイトから手伝ってっていわれてたけど、急遽キャンセルに。友達に連絡して、パーネルのワークショップにいって、リップスティックをつくって。っていってもずーっとしゃべってたんで、ほとんど作り方は覚えてないけどね。

そして、タカプナへ。初めてつれていってもらったんだけど、Theニュージーランドな町です。海を見ながらボーっと。めぐみさーん、ありがとー。

My car

I bought a car last weekend. I realized this is my first car, because I lived in Tokyo, parking fee was really expensive, and public transportation is very good. If I had a car in Japan, I would pay $100-140/week for car parking. I couldn't buy a car.
Now I can park in front of my house without extra fee.
And I was not good at driving, that's why Mariko taught me how to drive and  how to put petrol in my car! Thanks, Mariko:)

車を先週末に買いました! で、気がついたんだけど、この車がファーストカー。東京は駐車場高いんで買えないし、電車が頻繁に走ってるので必要なかったからなー。でも、ニュージーは車が必要。電車もバスも遅れるのはあたりまえ。という訳で買っちゃいました。
車も日本ほど高くないし、家の前のストリートに駐車してるので、無料。
そして、運転もうまくないので、友達のまりこちゃんに給油の仕方からいろいろ教わって、なんとか通勤できるようになりましたー。安全運転を心がけたいと思ってます。

Homemade skin cream (手作り乳液)

Yesterday, I made skin cream. I learn it in the organic cosmetic class:) I thought it was impossible for me to make cosmetics. However, this skin cream is easy and cheap!

2 tablespoons Apricot kernel oil
1 1/2 teaspoons Emulsifying wax
6 tablespoons Bottled water
A few drops Aroma oil



1. Warm water and oil in hot water, so that water and oil are easy to mix up.

2. Beat the water and oil until creamy and light. This exercise may help to develop my muscle because I don't have electric mixer.

3. Add aroma oil and mix it.

昨日、乳液（というかクリームになっちゃったけど）をつくりました。すっごく簡単なんで、最近はできるだけ手作り。
自分で化粧品が作れるとは思ってもみなかったけど、やってみると意外に簡単。
水とオイルを温めて同じ温度にすることがポイント。
その後はひたすらまぜる。（私は電動ミキサーを持ってないので、二の腕を鍛えながら泡立て。メレンゲも作ったりしてるので、泡立てはあまり苦にならないです。）
最後に好みのアロマオイルを入れて出来上がり！

Caviar (いくら)

　My Russian flat mate brought Caviar from her home. Her souvenir was red caviar, which were salted eggs of the salmon. In Japan, people eat the caviar with rice, but I head Russian people have caviar with toasted bread and butter. I have never eaten Caviar Sandwich. To my surprise, the caviar sandwich was quite nice!

ロシア人のフラットメイトがお土産にいくらを持って帰ってきてくれましたー。いくらはロシアでもいくらって呼ぶんだって。彼女はカムチャッカ出身だからかもしれないけど。ロシア流の食べ方を聞いてみたところ、パンにバターを塗っていくらをはさんで食べるらしい。おそるおそるトライしたところ、これがまたおいしい！いくらってパンにも合うんだーって思った。

Japanese food (和食)

Recently, I try to eat only vegetables. But sometimes I miss meat and fish. During holiday I went to Japan and I had a lot of Japanese food.
 First is a fried prawn rice bowl. This is yummy!! There were some pieces of vegetables inside the fried prawn:)

 Next is a eel rice bowl. I thought New Zealander don't like to have a eel. However,  Maori people used to eat eels, so culture is similar to Japanese one.

Finally, this is Japanese soup for New Year season. The soup bases on soy source and fish stock. Inside the soup, there are  Roasted Duck and Rice Cake.
 When I wrote down this blog, I remembered Yummy Japanese Food....
And also, I ate too much. That's why I need to try vegetarian.

さてさて、最近働き始めたんですが、それとともにベジタリアン生活も開始。
 でもやっぱり肉、魚が恋しいので正月に日本に帰って食べてきた和食の一部をご紹介。
まずはかきあげ丼。地味だけど、おいしい。
ニュージーランドにも、どんぶり屋さんはCityにあってTake awayとかできるみたい。
でも、あんまり外食しないので、聞かないで＾＾
次はうな丼。ニュージーランダーはうなぎなんか食べないだろうと思ってたけど。
昔のニュージーランドに住んでたマオリの人たちは食べてたんだって。言葉もそうだけど、マオリと日本の文化は似てるところがあるので、結構面白い＾＾
最後に、お雑煮。といろいろ食べてしまったので、食生活改善中。
年のせいか、1週間の不摂生を戻すのに2,3週間かかる。。。。
あーやっぱりもうちょっとベジタリアン生活続けよう。

Cookie

I have a lot of things to do, but I don't want. So, I baked cookies:)
やらないといけないことがあるんだけど、やりたくないんで、クッキー焼いた。暑いー。

Year-crossing noodles (年越しつけめん)

Year-crossing noodles are traditional Japanese food. Japanese people eat noodles, mainly Soba noodles, on New Year's Eve. But this time we had "Tukemen", which is similar to "Ramen" (Chinese noodles) and separates noodles from soup. When we eat "Tukemen", we dip some noodles into the soup. This soup was made from pig bones and some fishes, so it was very tasty!!

正式な英訳はわからないけど、年越しそばではなく、今回はつけめん。大晦日につくってもらいました＾＾つけ麺をちゃんと食べたことなかったけど、おいしかった！！けど、ほんとーに食べすぎ！

Sushi!!

In New Zealand, there are many Sushi restaurant and take away shop. But Japanese Sushi is different from New Zealand's Sushi, because Japanese Sushi mainly uses raw fish. I love Sushi:)

ニュージーランドにも寿司屋さんやテイクアウェイのお店はあるけど。日本の寿司はやっぱりいい。ということで、お寿司屋さんへ。ウニとカワハギ(だったかな?)もおいしかったー。
