Sushi & Wine

Yesterday, I went to join the research of Sushi & Wine. They try to find the  wine, which is suitable for Sushi!
It is very interesting for me, because when I tried to drink wine only, it was awesome. But if we tried to have both Sushi & Wine, some wines were good, but others were not good:)
That's why it is difficult to find. I thought Sauvignon Blanc was good for Sushi! We enjoyed this research.

行ってきました。すしとワインの調査。すごく面白かったのは、ワイン単体だとどれもすばらしいんだけど。寿司とワインを合わせると、合わないのと合うワインがはっきり分かれる。
だから探すの難しいんだなーと実感。個人的にはソービニヨンブランと寿司はなかなかいいコンビネーションだと思いましたー。この会に来ていた日本人の方が私の実家から歩いて3分ぐらいのところに住んでて本当にびっくり。
すごく楽しかったですー。

Vegetarian FirstDay!

I start vegetarian food from yesterday!! This is my first day of the vegetarian food. And today also I ate only vegetarian food. I'm still OK. Maybe I can continue to do, but my friends offered to research about combination Sushi and Wine. Oh I cannot do vegetarian food even one week:)
昨日からさっそくベジタリアン生活を開始。そして今日も。なんとなく大丈夫なので続けられそうだとおもったところ。私のワイン輸出会社の友人から寿司とワインのコンビネーションの調査をしたいと。。。。。
あらら。1週間すら続かないかも。。。。あはは。

Vegetarian

I heard if you eat only vegetables, you can wake up easily, because we use energy for our digestion. It is good to hear. So I want to try to eat only vegetables for one week.
But before starting, I realized I have meat. Today, I have finished my sausages.
 野菜だけを食べると、肉を消化する体力を使わないので、朝起きたときにつかれがないと聞き。1週間だけチャレンジしてみようかと思って。。。。。でも、冷蔵庫を見ると肉が。
という訳で、今日は私のソーセージを終わらせることにしました＾＾

The most deliciouse Riesling (一番おいしいリースリング)

I went to Spanish bar for helping my friends. They export New Zealand's wines to Japan. And we had this New Zealand's Riesling. I have never tasted New Zealand's Riesling. So I expected like German Riesling. However, this wine is completely different, because the taste is much more good like a spring. German Riesling is like a winter.
Maybe the reason is that New Zealand's wether is good for the wine.
 If you have a chance, please try it!
ニュージーランドワインを日本へ輸出している友達の手伝いをするためにスパニッシュバーへ行きました。
リースリングをごちそうになりつつ、お手伝い。今まで、ニュージーランドのリースリングは初めてだったんだけど。このワインはすごい！！
ドイツワインのリースリングは冬のような味。でも、ニュージーランドのリースリングは春のようなすばらしい、豊かなワイン。英語だと説明しきれないけど本当にステキなワインなので、機会があったらぜひチャレンジしてください！！

Lamb shank (ラムシャンク)

 I love Lamb shank! I have never eaten Lamb shank in Japan, so I had it first time, I was surprised, because in Japan there is no such a big ram meat. But the meat is really tasty! I boiled Lamb shankwith onions and garlics for 1 hour gently. Yummy!!

ラムシャンク大好き！日本ではみかけないぐらい大きなラム肉なので、最初見たときは本当にびっくり！でもおいしいんだなー。これが。ちゃんとした料理方法はしらないけど、1時間たまねぎとにんにくと一緒に煮込んで塩、コショウだけですごくおいしい！

Wine Tasting!!

 2 days ago, I went to the Southern Wind Trading Company wine tasting, which is for research purpose to export New Zealand's wines to Japan. My friend, Rob, invited me to this wine tasting. I met him PHP developer meeting in Auckland last month, and he can speak Japanese fluently and he is a lovely person. I have never been to such kind of official wine tasting, so I was nervous.

They prepared over 20 kinds of wines and we could taste by variety. Honestly, all wines are very high level, because New Zealand wines are very very tasty even cheep wine. Also, the wine tasting was very fun. After we taste wines, and then we tell them which one is the best and which one is not so good. 
Maybe Japanese people are not familiar with this conversation style, but I really enjoyed!!
And after wine tasting, we had BBQ, which was also fantastic!
I really appreciate Rob and them. I hope their business will success!!

the Southern Wind Trading Company という会社のワインテイスティングにいってきました！ニュージーランドのワインを日本へ輸出するためのワインテイスティングということで友人のRobさん（会社のオーナー）が招待してくれました。
RobさんとはオークランドのPHPプログラマーの集まりで出会って、こんな重要なワインティスティングに招待してくれて本当にありがたいなーって思った。しかも、彼は日本語ペラペラ、本当にやさしく素敵な人です。
で、こんな本格的なワインテイスティングなんて参加したことなかったので、すごく緊張してお家へ。

そうしたら20種類以上のワインを準備していてくれました。ワインテイスティングはぶどうの種類ごとに3~5種類のワインを飲み比べて、「どれが一番好きか。」「どうしてこれが好きか。」「どれが一番嫌いか。」といったのを決めて、最後にみんなでディスカッション。日本人としてはなかなかこれが一番いいとかごれが一番だめとかいいずらいけど、私としてはかなり正直に答えたと思うし、ディスカッションがとっても楽しかったです。
国籍が違っても男女の好みの差は一緒だったり、面白いなーって思う。今回のワインティスティングは本当にどれもおいしいワインばっかりで、あらためてNZのワインはおいしいなーって思う。
そしてワインティスティングの後は、BBQ。えびとムール貝とステーキ！！どれもすっごくおいしくて、本当に素敵な一日でした。
Robさんの会社の人たちもみんな親切ないい人なので、PHPのミーティングで会えたことに本当に感謝！！
そして彼らのビジネスがうまくいくといいなーと思ってます。

Hand made cosmetics 2 (手作りクリーム)

 I went to the lesson to make facial cream, which was only $5.00. It is very exciting experience for me, because I have never thought I could make facial cream!! There is a technique, so if we know that technique, we will make easily. The points are to warm oil and water as a same temperature and to use electric mixer. This cream is not so oily, I love it!

手作りコスメ教室にまたいってきましたー。自分でクリームがつくれるなんて思いもよらなかったけど、話しているうちに作れてすごく簡単。しかも参加費用は5ドル!!なんて良心的。
クリーム作りには秘訣があるらしく、湯せんに水とオイルをかけて同じ温度にするというのと電動のミキサーを使うという二つのポイントがあるようです。で、使ってみると市販のクリームみたいなべとべとしたのがないので、すごくさらっとしていてとってもいいので、次回は自分でチャレンジしてみたいなーと思ってますー。

Auckland Marathon

Today I run Auckland Marathon. I wanted to join full or half marathon, because these allow us to run on the Harbor Bridge, however they have been already full. So I joined quarter marathon. This is a good experience and I had a fun!
 Honestly, I woke up 6:10am (the start time was 6:45am.) and thankfully my friend pick mu up to the start point, so I was on time:) Next year, I wanna try full marathon.

行って来ましたオークランドマラソン。フルマラソンかハーフマラソンだったら、ハーバーブリッジというオークランドの名所の橋を渡るコースなんだけど、気がついたらもういっぱい。ということでクオーターマラソンに参加。気温もちょうどよくてとってもいい経験でしたー。
が、実は寝坊して6時45分スタートなのに6時10分に起きた＾＾幸いにも6時に約束してた友達が遅く来てくれたのと、オークランドマラソンのエントリーは事前にピックアップすることになっていたので、当日6時45分にいればOKというステキな幸運に恵まれ無事参加できましたー。友達に感謝!!
来年はフルマラソンに出てみたい！

Japanese restaurant

日本料理のレストランにいってきました。これで2回目のジャパニーズレストランです。店員さんはたいていコリアンだけどね。すしとカレーを食べて、まるで日本のよう！

New Zealand food

 My friend came here. So we went to the restaurant!! This restaurant closes to harbor, and there is nice place. I had ram and my friend had fish, maybe snapper....

  I was very happy that she came here!!

友達が来たのでレストランへ！一人じゃ行けないもんねー。このレストランは港に近いので、とっても気持ちいい。この明るさで8時ぐらい。サマータイムのおかげだね。私はラム、友達はたしか鯛。たぶん。。。。
とにかく、NZまで来てくれたことに感謝！！

Spring!

Now, New Zealand is spring season. So many flowers are blooming. Summer will be coming soon. The summer of New Zealand is completely different from Winter. I love Summer!!

日本は秋でしょうか？ニュージーランドは春です！！今はいろんな花が咲いてますー。桜、ラベンダー、名前も知らない花や見たこともない花などなど。夏ももうそろそろです。ニュージーの夏はまるで違う国のようににぎやか。早く夏にならないかなー＾＾

Hand made cosmetics （手作りコスメ）

I thought hand made cosmetics is very difficult. However, I joined the workshop, in which we made massage bar, with my friend. Massage bar is not so sticky, so it is more convenient than cream. This work shop is very interesting, because I can meet the Japanese people, who live in Auckland:)
Why massage bar lacks is I gave the part to my friend.

手作り化粧品なんて、私にはできないと思っていたけど。マッサージバーなるものをつくるワークショップに参加してきましたー。
マッサージバーはクリームではなく固形の保湿効果のあるものです。固形なので手がべとべとしないのが利点。手のひらにのせると徐々に解けてくるので、とってもいいです。しかも、このワークショップに参加するとオークランド在住の日本人会える！（オークランドって日本人たくさんいそうだけど、あんまりいない。）わいわい言っているうちにできちゃったのでほーんとすごい楽しかったですー。
そうそうちょっと欠けてる理由は、友達にちょっとあげたから^^

Jenga (ジェンガな家)

Now I run in the morning. I found the house, which looks the house on Jenga. Do you know Jenga? Jenga is toy blocks, and players pick up block one by one. In New Zealand, if you find good house, you can take the house to your place. Maybe this house is also such kind of house:)

 最近朝走っていて、ジェンガの上に立つような家を発見。ジェンガってっていうかた。こちらタカラトミーのジェンガです。
なんでこんなことになってるかというと、ニュージーでは気に入った家があると自分の土地まで引っ張ってきてどんとおいちゃうわけです。
夜中にはトラックにのった家が道路を走ってるのもよく見かけるし、専用の業者もいるらしい。
世界は広いねー。

Project

Final semester was started 2 weeks before. In this semester, we join a project and develop system for real clients. We chose CRM application project, and my supervisor recommend to write blog, because we think about the problem deeply to write blog. Everyone can see the blog, so when I write blog, I care for the possibility other people to read my blog without conscious.  Therefore, this method is very efficient to think about the problem by myself maybe:)

最後のセメスターが2週間前に始まりました。最終学期は3人チームでプロジェクトをくんで本当のクライアントのためにシステムをつくるというものです。私たちはCRMのアプリケーションをつくることにしました。で、スパーバイザーの先生がブログを書きなさいといって、ブログを書くことに。。。。
1個のブログもままならないのに2個いけるのか？このブログを書く理由は、一つの有効な勉強手段だそうで、公の目に触れるので意識してその問題についてより深く考えることができるかららしい。
まーちょっと英文斜め読みなので、ざっくりそんなコンセプトだそうです。
そういうわけで、こっちの新しいブログには英語でどんな問題に直面したか、どうしたら解決できるかというのを書いて行く予定ですー。が、普通の人にとっては残念ながら全然おもしろくないとおもいます。

New Zealand restaurant

I think there are delicious vegetables and meats in New Zealand. When I came here, I realized how tasty vegetables are. So, I like New Zealand's foods.

ニュージーランドの野菜と肉はおいしいと思う。こっちにきて初めて野菜ってこんなにおいしかったんだ。って思ったほど。ブログじゃ伝わらないのが残念><

Rotorua

I went to Rotorua during holiday again. This is quite nice, because there are plenty of nature!!
And also, there is hot spring:) If you have a chance, you should go there!!

またまたロトルアに。ここはとてもNZらしくて自然にあふれた、いいところです。
あと温泉もあるし。もし機会があれば、ぜひいってみてくださいー。

Washing machine diet (洗濯機なしダイエット)

Hi there! Long time no see.

I have two weeks holiday.

I wrote about without fridge diet, which means that I live without fridge, and I can’t buy many foods, as a result, I lost my weight.

But now we have a good fridge, so I can buy many foods.

However, our washing machine was broken 3 or 4 days ago. I couldn’t turn on. My friend said to me, “This time, you can be on a diet without a washing machine:)”

I thought it was just kidding, but I realized if you don’t have any appliance, you can be on a diet.

Because I have to wash the laundry by hand and have to iron even socks.

New Zeland’s iron is very heavy. I will get good muscle.

だいぶご無沙汰です。

2週間のお休みがあり、ブログも休んでたけどそろそろ再開しようかなーと思って戻ってきました。

さてさて以前に冷蔵庫が家になくて、冷蔵庫がないと物がたくさん買えないからダイエットになるという話をしました。今は立派なやつがあるので、買いたいだけ買える！

しかし今度は、洗濯機が壊れた！！

で友達が「今度は洗濯機ダイエットができるじゃん！」とか冗談をいってたんだけど。

家電製品がないってことは、なにがなくてもダイエットにつながるということが分かった。

全部手で洗わなくちゃいけないし、乾かないからアイロンで強制乾燥。

そしてそのアイロンも重いし。

きっと二の腕にいい筋肉がつくわ。

早く洗濯機がなおりますよーに！
